As you might guess from the name, today’s post is about the legendary coconut-almond confection by the manufacturer Ferrero. But unlike the original pralines, my ones are filled with healthy ingredients and taste absolutely amazing. As a birthday present for my very good friend Miriam, I created this recipe and named the pralines after her.
Instead of using butter, refined sugars, and other unhealthy ingredients, I just mixed almond butter and oats with some agave syrup. In the end, I also used some marzipan to coat the raw Raffaellos with coconut flakes.
I promise you, the Raffaellos are so addictive, you should better plan on making double the amount.
RAW RAFFAELLO “MIRIELLA” PRALINESPrint Recipe
- 1 3/4 cup oats
- 5 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon melted almond butter to coat almonds
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup
- 1/3 cup milk
- 15 almonds
- 100g marzipan
- 100g coconut flakes
Start with mixing the oats, almond butter, agave syrup and milk in a blender.
Coat the almonds with the melted almond butter and “wrap” the oat/almond mixture around them to form pralines.
Last but not least, coat marzipan around the balls and roll them in coconut flakes. So easy, so delicious.
The pralines are the perfect giveaway or yummy snack at the office, school, university or etc. I am looking forward to your comments. How do you like them?
